Principals
Mr. Brian Alexander - Principal
Welcome Pirates!
Greetings All,
I am excited to be your captain (principal)! I began teaching at Wylie ISD in 2010. Prior to becoming the captain of this ship, I served as a teacher and an assistant principal at Wylie High School for a little over 7 years. Following my first tour of duty at Wylie High, I served as the director of student services for the district. I love this school and I am glad to have been chosen to helm this ship.
The mission of Wylie High School is to provide an environment where ALL students and staff learn and reach their full potential. That is my goal. That is OUR goal. We accomplish this the only way possible - together.
Know Yourself. Know Your Worth. Know that we're better together.
Mr. Alexander

Bio
I am so excited to join the Wylie High School community as an Assistant Principal. I graduated from Texas A&M University (whoop!) and began teaching & coaching in 2007. I have experience teaching middle school and high school math, as well as coaching high school volleyball, basketball, soccer, and track. This is my 6th year in administration; I have served at the middle and school levels previous to coming to Wylie High School.
My family and I have lived in Wylie for over ten years and it is a privilege to be able to serve the community in which we live. My husband, Matt, and I have two children who are, and will, go through the Wylie High School feeder pattern. We have two dogs that we rescued; a Catahoula hound mix, Beau, and a Vizsla mix, Charlie. Our family loves to play soccer and that is where you will find us on the weekends and holidays!
